I love this! Yuna is in a lane of her own, her music is like taking a stroll through the park on a beautiful summers day- well at least that’s how I feel when I listen to her! I just enjoy her unique, effortless style…it’s so captivating:)

Heyyy…wow it’s been awhile! Hope you’re well!
Oh there’s so much to tell but I’ll keep it short & sweet…obviously I didn’t tell you about when I went to see Miguel in concert?! (screams internally). He definitely exceeded all my expectations, I knew he was going to be good but I never would have expected that! He is an amazing performer, there was definitely an energetic & positive atmosphere as well! He had so much energy and you could tell he loved what he was doing - which made the crowd even more excited! I love, love, love Miguel’s music…he’s giving a fresher, cooler sound to R&B- fusing it with electro, funk, pop and abit of jazz! I live for music like this!
Aside from that great beginning to the year, it’s just been uni, uni and more uni…nothing has outshone Miguel’s concert yet! Lol I do hope to see Teedra Moses, Alicia Keys and Beyonce this year- so watch this space! :)

Hey, hey, hey :)
I hope you’re doing great! I’m good, I suppose! Last weekend was great, i had a good time with my friends then the next day there was a big family BBQ- these are the times I live for, with my loved ones! :D
It was kinda bitter/sweet though, the BBQ was also a leaving party for my cousin who is going to live in Uganda (my home country) with her boyfriend. There were some emotional speeches, I got abit teary eyed too *sigh*…I’m going to miss her. She’s always the life of the party and she’s one of the few family members that I get along with well! Lol But I’m happy for her, I hope to see a ring on her finger soon- I need a good wedding to go too! Hehe!
Anyway, it was lovely being with everyone, it was so relaxed & fun- good times as always! Then we go back to our busy lives *sigh*. The time spent with my family & friends, are times I will always treasure! :D

This is why I loveeeee Amel Larrieux, she is such a beautiful spirit. Her music uplifts me on a bad day, I read this on her twitter and it cheered me up. I really needed to read those words, they’re just full of positivity, hope, inspiration & beauty. Just beautiful. :)
